Pumpkin Patch?

Apparently nobody wants to read about Crohn’s Disease so I’m taking another approach.

A couple weeks ago a West Seattle Blog reader (Margie) posted about her attempts to raise funds supporting her half-marathon run benefiting the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.

https://westseattleblog.com/forum/topic/fundraising-for-crohns-and-colitis-ccfa. It’s not the most exciting topic and I think many regular blog readers passed right over it. In an effort to help Margie meet her goal I volunteered to assist.

If a local glassblower were to create some glass pumpkins and donate them to Margie would there be some West Seattle Blog readers that would be willing to pony up a meager $40 to support this worthy cause? 100% of the proceeds from glass pumpkin sales will go to fund Margie’s effort. I just need to sell 20 of them (well, technically only 17 left to go as someone already bought 3). just throwing it out there. I know we all have different approaches to helping our neighbors and this is one of mine.

I would buy one. I believe I’m in the same building as you 3-800. You could just bring it to work.

(If you need help locating glass blower, I know a guy who’s great at creating pumpkins!) ;-)
