mellaw6565MemberI need to contact the landlord of the property next door to mine about the fence and the tenant will not provide me with his phone number.
I looked on DPD for the name, but his is a common asian last name and I cannot locate him in the phone book. Any suggestions where a property’s owners phone number would be located? The address listed on the DPD is the rental address – anything I mail to him there won’t reach him.

GenHillOneParticipantWhen you go through the parcel viewer above, use the street address. When it comes up, click on “property report” under the name/address on left.
When the report opens, does anything come up in the Sales/Quit Claims/Transfers section? If so, click on each of the recording numbers. Those go to the KC Recorders office. Some of those transactions have scanned documents attached (look far right). Look on those documents for something that says “When recorded mail to:” That may give you an address. On any of these pages, you may also get a middle initial or spouse name that could narrow down your search elsewhere since he has a common name.
If still nothing, or you want more, you can stay on that KC Recorders page, choose new search and start digging there. Enter the parcel number (twice – instrument#X to instrument#X) and see what comes up. Of course if you got a middle initial, you can search by name to see if he has other property in KC.
It’s like peeling an onion…
