I’m wondering if there is anywhere one could get local, pastured eggs in the area. Does anyone sell them at the farmer’s market? Or in a CSA?
The PCC has local, pastured eggs for sale.
Do they? I had no idea. Thanks for the tip.
Little Eorthe Farm eggs at PCC, different color eggs shells, very orange yolks. And a very limited amount every week!
We get ours delivered from full circle farms organic delivery weekly. They also have a limited number. Great quality. We have been happy.
you can also check with Vera Johnson of Village Green Perennial Nursery…I think she still sells eggs http://villagegreenpn.com
Green Bow Farm sells at the WS Farmers market every week – a bit pricy at $8 per dozen but great eggs. I found a neighbor with chickens whom I purchase from. Walk around your neighborhood see who has chickens and ask them if they sell their extras.
What is a pastured egg? Same as a free-range egg?
