The wife needs to have some work done on her Jaw and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations (good, bad or ugly) for Oral / Maxillofacial Surgeon’s

Clark: My brother and I both had jaw surgery (genetic, could have future problems issue) several years ago. While my brother’s was more extensive (both jaws, roof of his mouth widened, chin work and lots of permanent hardware), mine was more minor (lower jaw only, chin work and only 6 permanent screws), we both were seen by Dr. Dale Bloomquist — my surgery was a piece of cake, I was only down about 5 days, had a year of braces for prep and to assist in surgical banding.

Not long ago I needed a molar extraction and an implant but when I called Dr. Bloomquist’s office, I was told he was no longer taking new patients (any really, while I was technically an existing patient, in the medical community, after 6 years has lapsed, you become a new patient again). So I saw his partner in his office, Dr. Gary Feldman who was great and I would also highly recommend. I didn’t have any insurance for the Feldman procedure but feel it was reasonable although I didn’t do much checking around price-wise b/c I was confident in the office as a whole. 206-215-2088 is their number and they are up on Pill Hill. Good Luck!

As a past patient of both Dr. Feldman (2 extractions) and Dr. Bloomquist (upper and lower jaw moved forward, pallet widened, extensive chin work and 40+ pieces of permanent hardware) I can not say enough about how wonderful they both are. Dr. Bloomquist’s bedside manner was a bit off-putting at first, but I easily overlooked that knowing I was in great hands. The staff was also an ease to work with. My extractions were done in the office, while my surgery was done at Swedish.
