I’m not sure your idea has the public support you think it does. I thought that way a year ago but now I just want the bridge to be open. I have lived in West Seattle for over 30 years without ever having a desire or need to party on the bridge. The way I feel now is if the bridge is able to be opened on September 11th for a party then we should open it for traffic instead. How about if we party at Ounces and Skylark (steps from the bridge) and help a couple local businesses while we are at it? There’s your food truck, beer garden and probably even live music. I hate to be a Debbie Downer but a party on the bridge is just not what we need. A bridge that is open to traffic is.
