Wondering if anyone knows how to push the city to remove the new NO TURN ON RED sign at the SW corner, bottom of Highland Park Way & W Marginal SW? This is an unwelcome result of the new intersection construction (which really didn’t do anything for traffic). The new sign blocks traffic flow for those turning right to access 509-S (e.g. if going to airport from Delridge), and is an impediment to alleviating the congested line of traffic up Highland Park Way towards Holden. 95% of traffic traveling SW on Marginal Way turns left at the intersection towards 99, so this sign is overkill and not a safety issue.

Anyone know how to help get it removed?? Thanks

This is not an answer to your question, but a response to your comment that the construction didn’t do anything for traffic. I live in N. Admiral and since the changes, the time to get through the intersection whether heading west on Highland Park then turning right onto Marginal or heading north on Marginal then continuing straight through the intersection have both been greatly reduced.

Thanks for the reply, DaveB. I think you’re referring to different directions than my concern. The No Turn on Red sign was inserted during the construction at the bottom of Highland Park Way SW, at the SW corner of intersection with Marginal. Traffic going down the hill on Highland Park Way toward Marginal has grown increasingly worse, and the lack of turning right on red has exacerbated things. Wondering if others feel the same, and how we could get the sign removed, which alleviates the backup up the hill; especially for those turning right (south) on Marginal. Thanks
