I don’t want to rely on Fox as my news search, but can’t find this reported anywhere else. There was a teaser alluding to this on King 5 last night, but I didn’t stay up long enough to hear their story.

WS Blog I trust you as a news source…please say it isn’t so.

If my dog barks too much Seattle Animal Shelter wastes no time sending me a “warning letter” – but this isn’t a crime? (or more correctly it can’t be a misdemeanor… so why isn’t it a felony?!?)

    Wow….just wow. =-(

Yeah, I wondered if they would find that there wasn’t anything to back it up. Ugh – I hope this doesn’t set a precedent. At least we know where he works and what he looks like!

WSB already reported on it last night:

Followup: No charge after all, for now, in indecent-exposure case near Chief Sealth

Yeah, can’t believe this isn’t a crime already. Hope the County files something quickly.

Thanks, PLS. Actually we reported that yesterday afternoon. We’ll continue to follow, as one of many cases on our watch list … TR

they’re hands are tied until Friday, from what I understand. It falls under the counties jurisdiction, and hopefully, they’re going to press charges. And some pressure from local citizens probably wouldn’t hurt. The Seattle laws on this change on Friday.

Yes, it’s sad that they can’t find a way to locally charge him now. I can’t believe that anyone could do this, and there’s no law against it in Seattle. How about lewd conduct? Surely we have something on the books about that.

Wow – WS Blog is on it. Just found the story posted last night at 4:30 – I just didn’t scoll far enough this morning.

In the comments to the blog story wscommuter explains the nuances of the city not duplicating county / state laws. Odds are he’ll still be charged – my hackles are back down now.
