The Velvet BulldogParticipantI need a WS spot that’s quiet enough for me to conduct a taped interview around dinner time, and that serves wine so my interviewee can have a glass. Any suggestions?

JustSarahParticipantKokoras Greek Grill is pretty quiet, but it’s also fairly small, so if you need privacy it might not be the best choice. Otherwise, though, it’s quiet, the service is good, food is delicious, and they have some decent wines available by the glass.

JanSParticipantif food is not the important thing, and wine is, try The Cask in the Admiral District..across the street from the Admiral Theater

addParticipantHow about the back room at C&P Coffee? They serve wine and beer but not dinner…

SueParticipantFresh Bistro is usually pretty quiet at dinner, especially not on a Friday/Saturday. I know they have wine and a full bar, although as I’m not a drinker, I can’t speak for the quality of any of their drinks.

FranciParticipantAnother good choice would be Ephesus. Its always been fairly quiet when I’ve been there. They have great food and wine.

SueParticipantI agree with Franci – Ephesus would probably be a lot quieter than Fresh Bistro, at least that was my experience when I was there.

The Velvet BulldogParticipantGreat recommendations–thanks! Didn’t even know C&P HAD a back room.
