We are looking for a handyperson to help with some home repairs .We need some windows fixed or replaced, garage roof redone, an area of siding needs fixing and our furnace chimney also needs to be repaired. We are not wealthy so it has to be done reasonably as possible.:) Does anyone have any recommendations?

I hate finding people to do work so hard to find reliable help anymore.

Unfortunately…as you can imagine…the repairs you are asking for (not even knowing the extent) are items that, if not repaired correctly, will lead to worse problems.

My two cents…hire a skilled, bonded, insured contractor that warranties work. You will thank yourself.

Don’t pay half the price now at twice the cost later…

    Thanks.

Sure, We would want them to be licensed and bonded. There are handy people out there that are.We want someone that can do multiple things and not have to hire half a dozen different entities. We really cannot afford that right now.We really cannot afford most contractors. I would not thank myself for paying double at this point in life.We want it done the way we would do it if we still could. I personally have done most on that list. It is not hard,we just can’t do it anymore.

Just looking for recommendations if anyone has any for someone they have used.

Try Chris Raynor (raynorcustom@gmail.com). He’s a local guy with reasonable prices and a lot of integrity. We’ve used him before and will use him again.

We love Marty Bennett. Got his name off of a search on these forums for “handyman”. He’s $35 an hour and doesn’t appear to have any minimum. 206-588-9354

    Super nice guy.
