Nanny wanted for 2 Toddlers
Our two families are looking to hire a nanny in West Seattle in a nannyshare starting as soon as possible. Here’s what we’re hoping for…
We are in search of an experienced and loving nanny who:
* Is available Monday through Thursday (with occasional Fridays) 8am – 6pm to care for our toddlers (usually both children, but a few hours per week with just one child)
* Has certification in (or is willing to become certified in) Infant CPR & First Aid
* Has experience with toddlers (14 mo. and up)
* Has own car with insurance
* Will be a partner in parenting and values open communication
* Has a calm, patient demeanor
* Will provide age-appropriate play in an eco-healthy environment and enjoys going outside
* Is comfortable with breastmilk and cloth diapers
* Is willing to use/learn sign language
* Embraces positive behavior reinforcement and redirection as opposed to other forms of discipline
* Will do light housework, is a non-smoker, has no history of drug abuse, and is OK with a dog
We will provide:
* A salary equivalent to $12/hour for one toddler and $18/hour for two
* Paid holidays
* Good-faith contract upon negotiation
