justcuzMemberF.C.A.T. was very busy last weekend with new arrivals and kittens returning from foster care. We are up to more than 30 available kittens and cats – ranging from 8 weeks to one year – and one puppy!
There are all shapes, sizes, and personalities and the adoption fee is only $60, which includes spay/neuter and routine vaccinations. We even have a group that arrived having already been altered, so their fee is reduced.
Volunteers will be at adoption fairs this weekend 10/31*:
Sat. 11am – 5pm @ All the Best Pet, Alki
Sat. 11am – 4pm @ Ideal Pet, Seward Park
*if you complete an adoption Saturday and have big Halloween plans, let us know; we can hold your cat/kitten for you!
Not all the F.C.A.T. kitties go to all the events, but you can visit http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/WA451.html to see them. Are you able to add a new family member? Maybe two? Or how about a “shop cat” for your office? If you haven’t checked the site for awhile, we guarantee you’ll see some new faces, and they will be grateful for years to come.
In light of some misinformation floating around, it seems an appropriate time to thank you for supporting the WS rescue groups (I’m afraid to list them because I’d probably forget someone!). All are supported by volunteers, all do good work.

JanSParticipantThanks for posting this again as a reminder. I am now the very, very happy owner of a great rescue kitty that I got through FCAT. Leo has been here for a little over a month, and we’ve gotten very close in this short amount of time. He’s a purebred Abyssinian, and was abandoned without claws, already neutered. He was not ear tipped, but was/is not feral. I’m just very thankful that Pamela has the heart that she does, that this beautiful animal was saved, and is now my little pal :)
What she does is a GOOD thing…and adopting one of her saves would be a good thing for you :) Please consider it :)

justcuzMemberAh, yes, sweet Leo is definitely a success story. He paid a visit to one of the adoption fairs, so here’s hoping more love matches will be made!

goodgracesParticipantDo you think you’ll be bringing “Charcoal” to either adoption event tomorrow? I’m intrigued by him. :)
Thank you so much for the work you do!!!!
