this is what happens when some people choose not to vaccinate… they put us all at risk

” . . . when SOME people choose not to vaccinate, they put US ALL at risk” – JoB

I would suggest: when ALL people choose not to vaccinate, they put SOME OF US at risk.

I agree with JoB totally. Of course, I have a personal stake in being around non-vaccinated people who get ill and then go out amongst us. I had an organ transplant last summer, and take anti-rejection drugs that make me immune suppressed. Getting a basic stomach virus put me in the hospital for 4 days at the end of January. I picked it up somewhere out in public(most likely a grocery store). If people are going to choose to not vaccinate their children or themselves, then they have to take the responsibility to keep those children or themselves isolated from other humans until they are completely healed of whatever they have. What in the world would make someone go out in public if they have measles, for goodness sake. Oh, yeah…they are contagious before those spots appear…:(

Children do not receive the measles vaccine until they are 12-15 months old.

I would suggest: when SOME people choose not to vaccinate they put ALL infants at risk.

If you were born before 1957 you are not at risk for measles. It’s safe to assume you were exposed in childhood and have natural immunity.

So you can stop worrying (but the rest of us all need to be vaccinated!)
