AdamOnAlkiParticipantHEY!
So when I was away at college in Los Angeles, like many Americans I fell in-love with LOST. Many of my classmates did as well. It was great. We would all gather together on Wednesday nights (now Thursdays) and excitedly bite our fingernails over the hour-long weekly action/drama.
Oh how do I miss that.
Now I watch by my lonesome, not having any Seattle friends who care as passionatly about Jack and Kate and Sawyer and Locke and Sayid and Hurley and…you get the point.
Anyway, I am looking for any West Seattle LOST parties? I know that they are out there. If not maybe a bunch of us could gather? Maybe? I have beer?
BTW, DID YOU WATCH TONIGHT?!?!?! WHAT THE HECK?!?

WSMomParticipantOh my gosh! We LOVE LOST in our family. WHAT THE HECK?! is right!! I’m going to watch it again today because we missed some of it getting home late from a basketball game. Let me know if you find a LOST group as we’d love to meet up occasionally (we’re a family of 5 so probably not the demographic you’re thinking of).

AnonymousInactiveMy boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE Lost!! That seems like a fun idea to get together, get some adult beverages, and watch the show. The problem, though is that we can’t watch it when it’s on because we don’t have the patience to wait for next week. What we do is, when it comes out on dvd, we take a weekend and watch the entire season. I think they just started season 4 and we just finished watching season 3, let me know if anyone gets together, Adam, maybe we could actually watch the show like normal people.

WSMomParticipantOur family has been in LOST mode for the last three weeks getting my husband caught up on the show. We’re now half-way through Season 3! This will be a LOST weekend for us as well. I like watching the show the next day on my computer with “limited commercial interruptions” :). We could even get together and watch a favorite episode or something.

WSMomParticipantHey you LOST devotees, check out this blog…it’ll blow your mind…

SueParticipantI just got Season 1 from the library – my sister always told me I’d love it, but it’s always been on opposite another show I watch, so I never caught it. Well, I blew through 3 of the 6 DVDs in a huge 9 hour marathon yesterday. I am now officially obsessed. And I was worried I couldn’t get it back to the library in 2 weeks. :)

TheHouseMemberI must admit, I am a LOST junkie. The Powells link above rocks. That guy is awesome.

WSMomParticipantSue: We broke down and purchased all three seasons of LOST on DVD. We initially watched Season 1 & 2 renting from Netflix and we were always watching in a hurry so we could send the disk back and get the next one. Rewatching Season 1 & 2 with my husband has been a lot of fun as I was shocked how many details I had forgotten.
TheHouse and Newresident: Wow, we have something in common! Who would’ve thunk it!!! The Powell blogger reported that the 1st Season 4 episode was seen at the exact same time on three continents. Maybe LOST will help the world FIND commonality. :)

WSMomParticipantOnly two seasons left to find Lost. For you science geeks out there, check out this link.

“Physicist: Einstein Would Approve of Moving the Island on Lost
How did Ben make the island “disappear” in last night’s season finale? It’s all relativity, argues a top professor who even uses Lost in his classes. Wormholes, 305-degree bearings, the Casimir effect—it all checks out with quantum mechanics”
Lost has something for everyone.

I stopped paying attention during season 2 due to lack of television but now I may get caught up.

TrickParticipantI’m lost now…
After all the hoopla I began watching at least 6 episodes of the first season and hopefully will catch up to all of you.
