What we’re looking for:

– Part-time Kennel Assistant/Animal caretaker with prior experience working in a veterinary clinic.

– Possesses self-motivation, neatness, and an eye for detail and cleanliness.

– Must be able to work weekends and evening hours.

– Experience with feeding, cleaning, and caring for animals preferred.

– Shifts are typically 6am — 9am and 5pm — 9pm.

Position Requirements:

– Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent (Students currently attending High school will also be considered)

– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

– This position requires long periods of standing or walking throughout the day.

– Basic Math Skills

As a kennel assistant you will be entrusted with a critical aspect of the clinic — caring for our hospitalized and boarding patients. You must have a love for animals and an appreciation for cleanliness as being an integral part of patient care. Your responsibilities will include such things as cleaning, changing bedding, feeding and walking patients, and maintaining accurate boarding records.
