Blackcat119ParticipantMy opthamologist gave me the go ahead to move ahead with
Lasik (three + years of same prescription..). He refered me to a fellow clinic but I am leary after reading bad reviews online…
Anyone have a great experience getting LASIK in the greater Seattle area? Researching online has left me overwhelmed by the array of good/bad/frightening reviews/stories out there!

squareeyesParticipantI loved Brian McKillop at Eye Associates Northwest. I wanted Lasik but, after my initial exam, he advised that I wasn’t a good candidate for that. He then told me I was an excellent candidate for PRK which is still a laser procedure, but a considerable recovery time (I didn’t drive for two weeks and needed reading glasses to see the computer for a couple of months). So I respected him for his frank assessment. He was an early adoptor of the technology so has been doing this for a very long time. It’s been close to five years now since I had it done and I feel it’s been the best money I’ve ever spent. I think my great vision now has everything to do with Dr. McKillop.

jojofrenchfryParticipantI also loved Dr. Brian McKillop! He did additional pre-tests on me to be SURE I was an appropriate candidate (My astigmatisms were so bad, he needed to make sure I didn’t have a condition that would not work well with LASIK, but thank goodness, I did not.) It’s been just about 5 years now and my vision is still great!

JEMParticipantI had Lasik done by my opthamologist Dr Marcus Meyers at West Seattle/Highline Eye Clinic at Westwood village. Very happy with results! Two of my friends had theirs done there as well, but with thier eye doc, Dr. Mulligan (Thomas).

WS PersonParticipantI also had Dr. McKillop to my Lasik, back in 2000 I think. Perfect experience, he also was conservative about doing the work too soon. I’m so glad I had it done!
