    Any recommendations for an interior designer who could come out for a quick consultation which wouldn’t cost me an arm and a leg? Thank you!

    We just scheduled an appointment through Homepolish.com. It is a service that matches you with a local designer and there are 2 different price levels. We are having them come out for a $50 initial 1 hour consultation and we can choose to pay for more time if we want.

    Again, we haven’t met the designer we were matched with but I like that it is low cost at the start. It seems less intimidating.

    We were very happy with the work that Kelle Boyd did for us. In fact, we got her name from the WS Blog recommendation page when we were first trying to find an interior designer to help us a few years ago. She was great – knowledgeable, talented, friendly, easy to work with and very reasonable – as well as being from West Seattle.
