I saw this article this morning on the Seattle Times website:

Just thought it was an interesting approach to deal with the state’s budget by the Governor.

    What does everyone think?

If I balance the budget, can I get paid Governor wages?

    That is interesting.

Maybe the School District & Super might want to play with that budget feedback idea?

JenV – I think the Superintendent of Seattle Schools is where the real money is for budget slashers. That is assuming, of course, you would enjoy a $100K bonus after just one year.

Too much there for me to read through right now, but was interesting to see that the governor’s “proposed” budget included reductions in every category EXCEPT “Governmental Efficiency” (which she increased ~10%).
