Have You Self Published A Book

Have you published an e-book? Is there a template to use? I have been going through Lulu, they have converted my file and did a horrible job. I want to do it myself if I can. Keep in mind, I’m a beginner in all of this. Thanks!

Hi there –

I am *not* an author. However, I am reader/reviewer periodically on Authonomy.com when I have time. Rather a cool application for my English degree, I’ve found :). Those who can do, those who can’t critique. :D

Anyway, authonomy promotes createspace.com. I have come across authors who have used lulu, but I really am not able to say whether createspace is better. Just what I am peripherally familiar with.

Have a look see, if you don’t know about authonomy.com, check that out too. Lots of interesting work there, both brilliant and awful. And there is a forum section where you could pick fellow writer’s brains about their experience before you jump in.
