GenHillOneParticipantDo you have either hanging around from a project that you’re planning to throw out? We’re looking at some leftover carpet and a bunch of items that can go to the donation truck and thinking that it would be a great family project to “finish” an under-the-stairs storage space. Plus, a little construction will make the whole organizing thing more palatable to the boy sorting his stuff :)
Don’t care if anything matches; probably won’t even bother to mud and tape, just want to discourage bugs and spiders from wintering in there. I think two new sheets would be more than enough, but 1) would have to cut them to fit in my car anyway, 2) spending money on it will put it at the bottom of the project list, 3) would rather save material that is otherwise going to the dump anyway, and 4) again, don’t care if we have to put it together like a puzzle. Will happily come get pieces from anyone who PMs!

HarmonicParticipantI may have some insulation for you. What sort of timeline? We’ve got two more walls to complete and it seems we have a ton and more than we need.

GenHillOneParticipantThat would be great – we’re going to start the sort and purge either way, so we’ll do walls if and when I can round up materials. I’ll be sure to update here if we’re successful and in the meantime you end up with some extra, we’d love to put it to use!

addParticipantI think we have some scrap drywall after finishing a shower remodeling – will check what remains and PM you!
