Today is the 221st birthday of the US Constitution (anniversary of the signing).

I specifically didn’t post this in a political thread, because if any celebration should be nonpartisan, it is this one.

I have a paper copy of the constitution in my office and people come to read or look stuff up from time to time; even though it’s online, it is nice to just see in “real life”.

there was a wonderful discussion about the constitution on NPR this morning… and what it means to have a living constitution.. not a codified set of rules.
