    Celebrate Banned Books Week 2009

The Fairy Tales of Brothers Grimm

    The Jungle

    A Passage to India

A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man

    The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

    O Pioneers!

    Black Beauty

    The War of the Worlds

I guess this is West Seattle related only because there are so many readers. The Library is ignoring it except for a news release nearly two weeks ago.

What’s up with that? Just because there is a Dem in the White House doesn’t mean the danger of religious wingnuttery is over. History teaches us that challenging economic times are when the forces of censorship seize power over civil liberties and revise history.
