Tutti and QuinnMemberI recently found a plumber from a post on the West Seattle Blog, and after being gouged by a big company for a menial plumbing issue it was refreshing to deal with a local sole proprietor who was up front with us, prompt, and very reasonable priced (compared to the big company we had previously used). It is with this experience in mind that I wanted to share my experience with, and recommend, a friend and general contractor named Vance Schrammeck. My name is Shawna. I am a West Seattle resident in the Gatewood neighborhood and a small business owner in Pioneer Square. I have known Vance for 8+ years. He was originally referred to me by another business owner in Pioneer Square who had utilized his services with great results. Vance has performed a wide range of services for me over the years, both at my business and at my home, and has become a friend of our family.
At my business, he has done everything from installing lights, power outlets, and cabinets, to designing and constructing an elaborate glass/wood pay station with nothing more than a poor quality digital photo as a reference. At our home, Vance demo’d our kitchen and installed a new sink with garbage disposal, made room for (in our counter space) and installed a dishwasher, assembled and installed kitchen cabinets, and tiled an entire wall (including the back splash). He has also performed various other jobs around our house including: hanging brackets and mounting 2 flat screen tv’s (installing new power outlets and running all cables through the attic and walls), installing a bathroom ceiling fan/vent (after first removing a portion of the bathroom ceiling and running electricity to fan), hanging various fixtures around our house, installing outlets on the exterior walls of our home and running power to our garage, and most recently converted our electric oven/range to natural gas and installed a new oven/range.
As you can likely tell, Vance has a wide range of general contracting experience. In each my experiences with Vance I have been extremely satisfied with his work. He is polite, good-natured, and very hard-working. If any work needs to be done at my home or business I go to Vance first. I have recommended him to a number of my friends and business colleagues and have no hesitation recommending him to anyone reading this post. If there are any questions please email me at skynspa@yahoo.com. Vance’s phone number is 425-422-4831.
