dawn211MemberDoes anyone know a person who does small appliance (hairdryer) repair? I realize that might sound ridiculous but I have an expensive T3 hairdryer that has a heating coil burned out. Would love to have it fixed! Thanks!

celeste17ParticipantTry Mr Rafferd (sp) at True Value Hardware. He is an electrician and I know he takes on jobs on the side.

JenVMemberzenguy, those were my thoughts exactly!
dawn211, we really appreciate you trying to melt the snow with your hairdryer…unfortunately, there’s just too much. hope you get it fixed. ;)
(did you try Wiseman’s Appliance Repair? he’s here in WS – 937-5224)

ZenguyParticipantI am guessing it would be cheaper to buy a new one…sad, but true.

mrhinehMemberWow, pricey, but with a 4 year warranty? Quality dryer. How about a local salon? I think the bigger problem will be getting the parts.

dawn211MemberI think I just need a heating coil replaced. It’s a $200+ hairdryer. I know, I know…..but it works SO good. I have really long hair. I’ve had it about three years. Thanks for the suggestions!

mrhinehMemberWell, I wasn’t kidding when they said they had a 4 year warranty. Contact your retailer, or the manufacturer.

dawn211Membermrhineh – never thought of that for some reason, thanks for the idea!

lil moMemberI have had three T3’s, all which had electrical problems. I know they can be tricky honoring thir warrantys, but I think sending it to the factory is usually the best choice- or maybe check with them and see if they have a preferred repair person in the area.
