    Anyone have a recommendation for a company to install a gas furnace?

    I used Brennan. Not the cheapest but fast and knowledgeable. Might be a tough time of year for the “fast” part though. I had mine replaced in the summer.

    Burien Natural Gas got the nod. They came out on Monday, provided a reasonable quote and did the install Tuesday.

    FWIW, I called Washington Energy services. They were supposed to come out Monday at 9 AM. The sales guy called at 9:15 saying that he was going to be a few minutes late for our 9:15 appointment. After 9:30 and still no show, I gave up on the company. You know it isn’t going to go well when the sales guy starts lying before he shows up.

    I found from previous research that there are a lot of scam artists in the furnace install business….

    We used Ballard Natural Gas last year for our new furnace. Our furnance died suddenly last February. Ballard came out the same day and even brought us space heaters so we could have heat. They installed the furnance the next day and we couldn’t be happier with their services.
