    Two weeks ago I ordered micro-cans to replace the garbage and yard waste cans I currently have. Just called today and no change-of-service request was ever added to my record. Turns out they’ve been so inundated they were just writing everything down on paper, hoping to get the info entered at some point. This was a particular concern to me as I made the change to save money in my currently unemployed situation. So, if it’s been over five business days and you’ve requested a change that hasn’t come through – call them. 206.684.3000–and be prepared to be on Hold for a while.

    They told me today that they expect everyone should get their new cans by the end of April. And on the website it says that it takes 10-15 business days.

    I guess it’s the ‘luck of the draw’ on which representative you get when calling. I called in mid-March to request service changes be implemented on 3/30. I called again yesterday to confirm when I should put containers out and the rep said that my account had already been updated with the smaller container charges, but that it might take a couple weeks before the containers were actually switched out.
