Our furnace stopped working Saturday night, and we are cold. I’m looking for gas furnace repair suggestions. Who have you used and liked?

Sure its broken? I have more than once fixed a “broken furnace” by finding and replacing the internal tube fuse in the control box.

If it was a slow decline you might need a professional, but if it just went from working to dead spending 5minutes with a powered down ( turn off the breaker ) furnace and a flashlight might make more sense.

I have used Beacon and was pleased with the technicians and the job they did.

My furnace died in January one year and I appreciated that Beacon got out here fast.

have you tried the reset button on the furnace?

What ever you do DO NOT CALL SOUTHWEST PLUMBING AND HEATING You will regret their ineptness for the rest of your life.

    Sorry I don’t have a reliable recommendation

I have a service with my oil company and it usually does not cost anything for the visit other than parts. I have had good experiences with Sound Oil and Glendale Heating.

I second the advice on Southwest Plumbing. A few years ago, they charged my mother in law (90years old) $600.00 to replace a simple, straight forward bathroom faucet. I should have done it myself.
