AReaderParticipantSooo…is it open? Has anyone tried them yet? Were you swayed to wander across the street as some have predicted??
REPORT!!
June 20, 2008 at 5:54 pm #628186
AnonymousInactiveCome on, AReader! You’re not living up to your name! lol.
There was a thread strated about this a couple days ago.
Quite controversial…. check it out!

JanSParticipantKayleigh – lolol…great synopsis…
June 20, 2008 at 7:27 pm #628189
RSMemberYeah that other thread became about other issues, so I support the creation of a new thread to ask about the actual ice cream store! I think the answer to AReader’s question is no, no one has tried it yet or if they have there’s been no report back. I’m planning to walk over tonight when I get home from work!

charlabobParticipantThe thing I like best about ’em is Ms Pacman. Fair warning: when I clomp in, cane in hand, if you’re at the MsPacman machine, prepare to be dislodged. Or at least whupped by one of the highest scores ever seen? Unless, of course, my reflexes have deteriorated in the past 15 years — nah, that couldn’t happen.

inactiveMemberOk. I just got back.
Mango chili ice cream. Perfect. Was told the mango chili peletas are code red hot! But, the ice cream just tingles on the back of the tongue, soothed by creamy mango bits. omg.
Made to order Old World cones.
BEAUTIFUL, classic pinball machines! $.25 – $.50 each!!!
Sidewalk tables with cheery cushioned chairs!!!! It is as wonderful as we expected it to be.
Go. Enjoy. And report back on YOUR flavor.
BTW, live Music by the Blankits begins at 9:00 pm tonight.
One unfortunate glitch: A hard-working spatula gotten eaten up by the mixer blade and today’s batch of Mexican chocolate was lost. BUT!!!!! Justin will make another. Fear not.
And, that score of 85,000 on the Gopher is mine. Woo Hoo!!! :)

JanSParticipantpoor spatula :(
now I need to try mango chili…sounds wonderful…thanks for that report, ‘dood…

AdmiralJanewayParticipantWhat a great day to open an ice cream store! I look forward to venturing down there soon.
I used to know the Pacman and Ms. Pacman “route” when I was young. I may have to pay the equivalent of a tank full of gas to learn it again.

ellenaterMemberI wanted to bump this…
We drove all over looking for Full Tilt tonight and when we finally found them, they were closed. (Mondays) But Justin was in there and he came and opened the door and got us popsicles. For a buck. Really, really tasty popsicles. We had blackberry and coconut. I dunno if they are homemade or what but they tasted uber fresh and delicious. I thought that was pretty above and beyond the call of duty. And they have vegan options for dairy free folks. This is great for our little guy. Full Tilt rules!

ZenguyParticipantThe peeps in WS/WC are just uber nice. Love it here and it just keeps getting better. Several of us were at Triangle the other night, but the burgers and onion rings made me full…thank goodness some fell on the floor or I might have eaten them all.
July 15, 2008 at 6:20 am #628196
WSBKeymasterThat was really sweet of Justin to get popsicles for you … aka “paletas” – they’re the only people in Puget Sound who make paletas. We haven’t tried those yet but can vouch for their ice-cream flavors – TR

Yet another arguement for allowing dogs in a Bar! :P

ZenguyParticipantDogs in bars serve a purpose…service dogs one could say…right BPP?
July 15, 2008 at 6:35 am #628199
AnonymousInactiveZenguy, if you hadn’t been trying to hoard your rings….
I really enjoyed meeting you by the way. You are one funny guy and I had a really good time.

RSMemberWe are officially addicted to Full Tilt. White Center was the subject of this week’s Yelp email and Full Tilt got a nice mention. Nice job guys!!
July 15, 2008 at 7:24 pm #628202
ellenaterMemberWhite Center is very cool!
I am elated to have found Full Tilt. Huskies is great but they don’t have any vegan options. Those paletas are incredibly good. Our entire family was silent the entire time we were eating them. That’s how ya’ know. The little guy is NEVER quiet unless he is blissed out on ice cream.
July 15, 2008 at 11:18 pm #628203
ChessaMemberAnother hooray for Full Tilt! My little dude and I popped over there today for vegan ice cream and it was AWESOME! Mexican Mocha, coconut based, YUM!! I love when ice cream folks are adventurous! Silas was more interested in putting nickels in the games, which he happily did for quite a while (he’s 2). The owners are awesome – it’s great that they are providing a hangout for kids in the area. Some Friday night if I can get the little dude to stay awake (or secure a babysitter) I definitely want to check out the music!
We’ll be back!
July 16, 2008 at 8:31 pm #628204
ellenaterMemberChessa,
That Mexican Mocha sounds pretty good. Does it have cinnamon too? Mmmmmmm.
I didn’t know they had music! I’m just looking forward to DigDug.

SueParticipantI love to get the sampler – a tiny scoop of every flavor they have. Eat it in – otherwise it all melts together by the time you get it home (learned my lesson the first time) – but it’s fun to try and figure out what you’re eating. It was slow, and Ann kept coming over to see if I needed help identifying anything. It’s so hard to pick a flavor with all those choices, so this is a good alternative. Lots of fun!
July 17, 2008 at 6:49 am #628206
TraciMemberDELICIOUS!
I made a trip to White Center for this after snooping around the forum for a while, and wasn’t disappointed! I got the blueberry cinnamon (YUM) and my boyfriend got the thai tea – which tastes exactly like thai tea.
The waffle cones were rolled in front of us, which was also a PLUS. They were warm and chewy. If you haven’t visited them yet, do it this weekend! It’s just ice cream, yes, but it’s damn good :)
July 17, 2008 at 3:58 pm #628207
JoBParticipantSampler?
i missed a sampler? that will teach me to look down into the ice cream bins instead of up at the board:)
great place.. great ice cream.. great people…

inactiveMemberI tried the apricot sorbet last time – so fresh. Just right.
Also, I noticed that they are now selling pints and quarts.
Bring it on home!
For about $3 and $4.
July 17, 2008 at 6:24 pm #628209
ellenaterMemberYa, their ice cream tastes super fresh. It’s miles above the rest. Even Huskies, I dare say.
Pints and Quarts are baaaaaad. We eat them in no time at all.
