This lovely oak bed frame was purchased at Village Woodworks in West Seattle 20 years ago and is still intact, structurally sound, with all the hardware. The only issue is cosmetic — see photos — that’s 20 years of cats and dogs thinking that jumping onto and off of the bed is the best fun ever. Even after 20 years though, it’s not too bad and probably a perfect project for someone who wants to learn some light woodworking.
The detailing on this bed is just right — enough for visual interest, but not so many nooks and crannies that it’s hard to clean. It’s been in a non-smoking home, and we’ll be breaking it down for easy transport.

– Baseboard Height, floor to top: 29″

– Clearance under bed: 7″
– 5 struts across, middle strut has post to floor for extra stability
