Can you bring food/snack items into a Mariner’s game or do they make you pay a small mortgage for their food only?

Homer — took my kids to an afternoon game a week or so ago and brought in Landjaegger’s (meat sticks) & almonds and apples. My bag was checked and they didn’t seem to care but maybe it was because I had little kids with me?

Most outside food is OK, but not beverages, except milk or juice boxes: “Food brought into the ballpark must be wrapped, bagged or inside a container. Items such as apples and oranges must be quartered. Personal food items cannot be carried into any of the restaurants, lounges or suites.” http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/sea/ballpark/information/index.jsp?content=guide

jissy, I hope you quartered your apples! :)

Actually I had 1 quartered (someone is about to lose their first tooth) & the other was whole.

wow, thanks guys. Guess it’s just a liquid issue with people trying to sneak in booze to make the 9 innings go faster!
