How in the world do you get the city to fix a broken streetlight?

I live on a dead-end street, and the streetlight at the end of my driveway has been going off and on intermittently for over a month, possibly since Christmas. I have filled out the Street Light Trouble Report form (here http://www.seattle.gov/light/streetlight/ ) numerous times, and nothing happens!

With this weekend’s nice weather I finally installed a motion-sensor floodlight in my back yard, but I would still like the street in front of my house to be safe for myself and for neighbors who jog, walk their dogs, etc. in the early morning and evening hours.

How can I get the city to actually do something about this?

Get the number off the pole and the closest street address and then use the form linked on this page.

Follow up phone numbers are also there.

Follow up calls might be the most important part since they can sometimes tell you if it is on the schedule.

I think all SPU line workers are involved in the big tree trim project at the moment.
