Does ANYONE know? Re: 1st Ave. South on-ramp to WS Bridge

I’m trying to find out when the new 1st Avenue South on-ramp to the Spokane Street Viaduct (aka the WS Bridge) is slated to re-open. All the materials put out by SDOT say “Fall 2011.” By my crude calculations, that means sometime in the next 40+ days.

Has anyone received/read an update?

It’s TBD on the website for the project: http://www.seattle.gov/transportation/spokanestreet.htm

Which doesn’t really give you an answer your question.

I’ve been trying to get SDOT to answer that question since last Friday. I usually get fairly prompt responses, so this is kind of strange. Trying for a third time tomorrow. My question was acknowledged EOD Friday, so I know it hasn’t completely disappeared into the rabbit hole .. – TR
