Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for folks to replace our existing deck with Trex?

    Thanks.

    Miketown:

I had great service from Ron at West Coast Decks; A+ rating in Angie’s List and good work besides. Yes, he is from the east side, but his bid was competitive, workmanship flawless, and no change orders despite having to relocate a support structure. I deal with contractors for a living and the last thing I wanted was a change-order artist.

BTW, I got the PVC-coated Fiberon and I preferred the color and nearly maintenance-free aspect of what is essentially PVC coated trex.

    Hi Miketown:

My name is Chris Raynor, I’m a contractor here in West Seattle. I’d love to come take a look at your deck, I’ve worked with Trex many times. I’m fully licensed, insured and bonded. I can stop by anytime to give you a quote and say hello.

Thanks, hope to hear from you soon!

Miketown, just some kind advice to do your due diligence. Check yelp reviews. Angie’s list is not what it used to be. I’ve had about 7 deck contractors come to give me an estimate this spring/summer. Lots of shady businessmen and businesses. Still haven’t found someone I trust.
