I encourage people to move here despite it becoming the new “Ballard” (Not that bad–we don’t have that many “public houses” or bars every other storefront.) One of the reasons is WSB, and Tracy, Patrick, and the junior member. And the others who help them. But despite Tracy’s humility, without them, like the bedrock of Alki Point, there would not be a point. Less community and cohesion. Bravo and carry on.

Congratulations to Tracy, Patrick and The Junior Member (who really did put in many hours as well). Thank you for covering the news, big and small, the community events and the people who make up West Seattle. I can hardly stand normal news now, which panders to the entertainment value of a story to get the readers, rather than drive down to the essense of each story. But please take a break now and then :-)

Yay Tracy and Patrick! That is GREAT news! You deserve it so much, for your commitment to us, your “nose for news,” your discretion, and a zillion other reasons. Pibal’s verse was fantastic – all I have to offer is (1) profuse thanks for all of your hard work, and (2) congratulations!
