I play with a community orchestra that rehearses down in South Park (they don’t really have a blog).
It was formerly the Boeing Employees Orchestra but now it’s the Orchestra of Flight and open to everyone.
The orchestra is a volunteer community group performing in the Puget Sound area since 1983. We perform at many area retirement and nursing homes providing live orchestral music entertainment to residents that might not be able to experience it otherwise. (like at Providence Mt. St. Vincent)
No audition required for musicians able to play at high school level or better.
Our rehearsal programs include a wide variety of classical and Broadway music. If you’ve been thinking about pulling that instrument out of the closet and playing again it’s a wonderful time to start!
Rehearsals are every Monday evening from 7:30PM to 9:30PM in the Boeing 15-35 South Park cafeteria.
