OK, folks, the West Seattle Transportation Coalition is asking every single one of you who want to see some of your tax $ spent fixing our transportation woes to do a simple contact asap.
It’s called the Green Sheet and it’s sponsored by Tom Rasmussen and it’s $700k to get started on a number of important pieces of work right here. This is just the start but a very important one.
The City Council is going to vote to include this or not in the budget early next week.

…the culmination of this West Seattle Bridge/Duwamish Waterway Corridor Whitepaper and Recommended Project List will add $700,000 into the 2016-2017 SDOT budget with Green Sheet 95-1-A-1-2015. This amount will help implement mobility and create strategies to reduce congestion.
The proposed projects in this list will be part of a larger, comprehensive transportation plan to better integrate the Peninsula and beyond. We are asking you, our Members to take action. Please email or call the Seattle City Council and let them know you want them to support this action by November 13th.
