Car Prowling in Arbor Heights this morning 2/19

Just a heads up to my Arbor Heights neighbors. My car was prowled either late last night or early this morning. Admittedly my fault for forgetting to lock the doors but when you are unloading from Costco and the grocery store it’s easy to forget to hit the button. Nonetheless they did not smash any windows but made off with loose change and two pairs of spendy Sunglasses. Seems he or she was strolling down 31st off of 104th checking car doors. So just be warned and make sure you are locking doors! Be safe everyone :)

That reall sucks. But locked door or not, leaving “spendy” anything and actual cash in your car is a short bus to a break-in.

PangolinPie. Please don’t assume crooks are smart. Just had 2 friends have their window’s smashed in the Montlake neighborhood. NOTHING was visable from the outside. A friend who lives on 49th just off Admiral, after 2 break-ins(nothing to take) decided to just leave his car unlocked. Yep, the dimbulbs never checked-just broke a window 1st.
