    Are there any camera stores in West Seattle? Would love to avoid a 2nd trip to Southcenter after finding everything locked up tight today for Easter. I want to see some of the cameras I’ve been reading about in person so I know how big they are. And who knows usually our local shops beat internet prices and are a plethora of knowledge.

    No, there are no camera stores in West Seattle. However, there are still a few local shops around.

    Glazer’s Camera is in South Lake Union, 430 8th Avenue North.

    Camera Techs – Ballard

    Kenmore Camera – Kenmore

    And then of course you have the Tall’s chains. I say go to Glazer’s, ask for Cody. He’ll take care of you.

    Thanks everyone! Hopefully I can make a visit to Glazers soon, always a bit of a chore to try getting to SLU after work but so much nicer to get a real world view and input of gear you read about endlessly online before finally pulling the trigger! I’ll save Best Buy for show rooming Amazon…. Ugh I feel like such a creep doing that some times, but maybe they’re still doing their price matching.

    Now back to comparing pics and reviews on DPReviews….

    If you visit Glazer’s, try to arrange a time when Kamali is available. He used to work at Kit’s Camera in Jefferson Square, and is a great guy who will steer you in the right direction!
