HomerParticipantAnyone else have a less than stellar experience here lately? Got to admit, it’s my favorite thai restaurant and it was takeout, but we’ve gotten takeout from them before and not like this. Not much there and just not that great….just curious if this was a one time fluke or others are having the same experiences? Hope their mgmt hasn’t changed!

sacatoshParticipantWe were there last night and it was as wonderful as ever.
Speaking of: To the family who was sitting next to us signing with your young child — you had NOTHING to apologize for. Your daughter was charming, and her friendliness was not a bother in the slightest. We enjoyed talking to you a bit, and we thought you guys were great. Wish I could remember as much ASL as I knew 10 years ago. Thank you for the unintentional reminder to brush up.
I hope you had a wonderful rest of the evening.

Garden_nymphMemberHomer,
What did management say when you told them? Maybe it was just an off night. Keep us posted,I need to know if I will have to DOUBLE my future orders. ;) Just thinking about them is making me hungry…

WSHuskyMemberInteresting post!
We had dinner there recently and felt the same way (as the original post.) Our favorite Thai spot historically.
The staff was great, but the food was marginal – cashew chicken had two cashews and virtually no chicken….all veggies – the crab wontons were cold, and the curry dish was also lacking the main ingredient – disappointing!
Again, the service was good, but the kitchen didn’t live up to our usual standards.

MargLMemberWe picked up Crack Chicken and Rama Noodle with Tofu for a take out meal there just last nite. Was as tasty as ever! I will definitely say we have had off nights there, where the chicken was chewier/drier than normal or they made it spicy instead of the mild we asked for – but I think every restaurant has “off” nights. That’s why food critics for publications will eat there several times before writing an article.

grrParticipantmust have been a fluke. I’ve never, ever had a bad experience or meal there. I will often ask one particular server who’s always there when we are to pick something new/different for us to get us away from ordering the same old stuff. Never ceases to amaze me how great it is.
