JoBParticipantJanS..
Captain Dave’s statement was disingenuous..
considering that we have been on the receiving end of his verbally micromanaging the presidency for the past 8 years …February 9, 2017 at 2:41 pm #873655
captainDaveParticipantJoB: Was your one-liner from a fortune cookie? I am not seeing where it is relevant to this thread. Perhaps you should save it until I actually do call someone a nasty name.
JanS: What is it you think I should do? Do you think I should threaten to retract my vote? Remember, I am the evil spawn of alternative ideas so why should I be complaining?

JanSParticipantHey, you’re a grown up , aren’the you? You claim to be smarter than the rest of us…figure it out ! Here’s a hint….go to the source and quit whining to us about being picked on.
JoB….Dave? Disingenuous? Noooooooooooo, not possible…..

JanSParticipantAnd Dave…no, you voted, and that’s always a good thing for all Americans…but don’t feed us the crap that that’s where your responsibility, your caring about what the person you voted for is doing, ends. Gee, we’re gonna start thinking that you’re just like the president, only in it for the money, everything else bedamned. That’s not true, is it, Dave?
Oh,I also have a question..seriously. Could you list for us exactly what freedoms you don’t have now, compared to other people? Please. Also, what rules exactly need to be gone, so you have more freedom?

JoBParticipantCaptain Dave
“don’t be an irrational lunatic”
i will admit that i have been called nastier names.. some of which i have actually earned.. but the degree of nastiness doesn’t alter the essential.. if you need to call people names to make your point you have no point.

How about being able to operate a business in this city without being harassed by bureaucrats and falsely accused of being a Tea Party member.
“Please. Also, what rules exactly need to be gone, so you have more freedom?”
All the new rules that have prevented me from being able to use my assets in the pursuit of legal business ventures in Seattle.

JanSParticipantWell, you see, you feel you were falsely accused of something. They felt differently. You simply want to run you business without rules and regulations. Wouldn’t that be nice if we could all do that? Where would be the consumer protections in that scenario? Your word? Doesn’t cut it. I , too, have regulations in my line of business. I’m a Healthcare provider, licensed, but I can’t diagnose people. It’s not in my scope of practice. Nor can I adjust bones and charge for it (although it can happen inadvertently ) Sometimes rules and regulations are there for a reason. Sorry you’re butthurt because you can’t simply do what you want.
