elgregoMemberMy brother is currently a regional kitchen manager at the Ram Brewery and Restaurants. He’s run two kitchens out in the Midwest for about two years, with another two years as an executive chef, four years as a cook and he has a Culinary Arts degree from a Le Cordon Bleu school.
He hates his job and has been trying to get transferred out here to Seattle, but keeps getting stonewalled. He wants a change in his life, is extremely unhappy where he is, and is considering joining the military at this point because he’s so frustrated.
I’m hoping someone might be interested enough to at least look at his resume. I’m in the military myself, and I’d rather keep my little brother out of Iraq if possible. If he had a good lead on a job out here, I’m sure he’d drop the idea that going to war would solve his unhappiness and get the motivation he needs to make a positive, rather than negative, change.
I can vouch for his good cooking skills.

JanSParticipantElgrego..if only I could afford a personal chef :( I was once upon a time military, and that won’t fix his unhappiness, nor polish his culinary skills. He would flourish here if you (we) could find him something, and he got to just appreciate it here…will keep my eyes open, for sure..

ellenaterMemberelgrego, did you try the catering places, too? Sometimes people overlook that option. Good luck to your bro.!
