Hi, does anyone know if any Junction businesses accept alkaline batteries for recycling? I haven’t checked with True Value yet. I’m mostly looking for a place within the Junction or adjacent, if I can get there on foot or by bus. My old office building in downtown has a drop off, and I can always take them there, but if there are any drop off locations here, that would be ideal. Thank you!

Hi, I haven’t heard of WS dropoffs but you can schedule a special pickup with the city or (I realize this wouldn’t be foot- or bus-convenient, though) take to the South Transfer Station …

Hey Keymaster, there was a posting today about battery and electronic drop offs and that made me realize that I never got around to thanking you for the info that you provided a few weeks ago. I appreciate your input and it looks like our True Value does take them. Thanks again!

Well, PSYCHE! Looks like someone replied to the post and said nope, True Value doesn’t take them. Oh well!
