I know it is tuff I had kids that all had to be picked up by 6pm hard to make even when you get off work at 5pm and have traffic holding you back. I had friends that hired college students to cover after school care. A lot of students have earlier classes and are willing to pick up kids from schools and babysit till parents get home. Kids and college student can get homework/studies done before parents get home.
