Marianne23MemberHi,
There are waitlists at the Y and at Alki Community center for after school care. The waitlists have been all summer, I am getting very uneasy that anything is going to open up before school starts. What do you guys do for after school care? Do you have any other suggestions in the area?

MaxineParticipantI believe that Fauntleroy Children’s Center, Europa Kids, and Belle Mente all have after-school programs with vans/buses, that pick kids up from various West Seattle elementary schools.

KJPParticipantCheryl and staff are great at Alki Kid’s Place. I would highly recommend it. My son went for 3 years and loved it.

CatMemberAlki Kid’s Place is so great. My son has been there since September and I would choose them over the Y and the community center any day (not to say either of those are bad, they just lack the personal warmth of AKP)
