paddyMemberAnyone know what the story is with the construction that’s been going on on the South end of 35th? The work seems to be done, but the road has been patched very poorly. Driving in the Southbound right hand lane is like driving on a country gravel road now.

paddyMemberSorry – just found a related thread in the Rants & Raves section: https://westseattleblog.com/blog/forum/topic.php?id=3665. There still doesn’t seem to be a solid answer on when this will be fixed, though.

JenVMemberI think like most of the streets in WS, repairs are scheduled for around the 10th of Never.

DunnoParticipantFrom Trenton or so to Roxbury, or is it Ruxbury, is a joke in the right lane. Philchuck and the other contractors I hope plan to fix the mess left. No way should the city be on the hook for this crap!!

WSBKeymasterAs I said in the last thread, call PSE for starters. And call 684-ROAD. This is still within the timetable we were given by PSE for their completion of repairs. The restoration work was supposed to be starting right about now. When you call PSE (we have already heard from one area resident who got an answer by calling them), report back what you’re told – if different people are getting different answers, we can try to sort it out.

danceforlifeParticipantWSB,
Not my regular route, but a secondary for me. I did read the other thread after posting. Some of
this road could be very damaging to your car at the 35mph posted limit. Mufflers, tires, suspension, ect. Saturday night it took me by
suprise!!

RainyDay1235MemberStill waiting for road striping. Large sections have no paint at all. It’s only a matter of time….

JenVMemberit’s pretty scary driving down 35th right now. People are just drifting all over the place with no lines. Drove down 35th from Roxbury to Avalon on Saturday and was nearly sideswiped by some moron unable to figure out where to drive. All this while dodging metal plates and crater-sized potholes. My poor little car. :(

ellenaterMemberwhen did the stripes disappear? was it the snow? I didn’t notice it until after the snow…

AnonymousInactiveellenator,
Yes, the stripes disappeared during the snow event. I think the stripes probably disappeared during the last couple days before the snow was gone.

KenParticipantThey are painting stripes on 35th right now. I saw the trucks line up about 8:30 and by 9:30 they had made it up the hill to about Edmunds.
