harry reid might be a wimp, but he seems to have conservatives’ number. he and kent conrad have you guys all apoplectic.
democrats have a budget proposal. it is written by the president. there’s no point in sending up a senate resolution. and if dems did send one up, what would happen to it?
hey, by the way, i see that those paragons of justice and hard work in the house GOP have canceled all october business and are taking yet another vacation to campaign while the fiscal cliff looms. way to go, boys.
kind of a stark contrast to the 110th congress, in which pelosi and hoyer made congress work 5 days a week instead of the cushy 3-day week that they were used to.
i think it’s time we start paying congress by the hour. say, minimum wage.
