I just read your message. I would have no problem coming over and helping to clean up your yard. I know what it is like to heal from broken bones and as I do not have a yard right now, I actually miss doing hard core lawn work.
For future reference, my sister goes to the West Seattle Tool Library (on Delridge at the Youngstown Center)and rents a weed whacker all the time for her yard, as the push mower her landlord gave them is just ok. The library is free (they ask for a small $1 to $2 donation, but it is not a requirement and they are amazingly chill and friendly about it). They may even have a lawn mower, not sure though as I just go there to rent the occasional saw or electric screw driver for furniture projects.
