I can imagine Obama said he wouldn’t run — up to a year ago, Clinton was a shoe-in (or is that shoo-in?) and, even though I really really supported John Edwards, I thought she couldn’t be defeated and tried to work up a tiny bit of enthusiasm.
Just think…a year ago both major parties were seriously debating, on both sides, the wisdom of having two New Yawkers running against each other. As if it were a subway world series. Rudy and Hill — together in the, um, land of lost toys. :-)
