Twice I’ve had my car hit and both times the car drove off. Both times it was a similar type car and both times it was while trying to parallel park behind one of my cars while there was a whole lot of free areas to park elsewhere.
I’ve gotten to the point where I just go stand on the parking strip right where the parking is happening and look at the driver. Yes, it’s a little passive aggressive but I have tried to flag the vehicle down and get no response. There are no markings on the car saying that it’s from a driving school. I do believe it’s from a school though since this has gone on for a couple of years and seems to be fairly cyclical.
I KNOW it’s a public road and anyone can park there. I KNOW that you’ve got to learn somewhere, I just wish it wasn’t my car that was being used as a practice cone!
