We spend the entirety of the fair within feet of the police assigned there (once again this year we are in the booth at the center of the action, the big tent @ California/Alaska) and last year there was no rushing off for heinousness (knock wood). It is historically a very mellow event. Likely to be a big crowd for Mudhoney at 8:10 pm Friday – but big does not necessarily equal trouble.
