I also miss the ATM, but it’s like everything else at Alki I guess. I miss the real grocery store and cringe to think of the promise of a new one with more outrageous prices. I had to laugh when the time came that we had a food store for pets, but nothing for humans. Then I had to laugh when someone decided the area needed three new Mexican restaurants to open during the same year.
In short, the business climate down in Alki doesn’t make much sense, pretty much feast or famine. If it were otherwise however we probably wouldn’t love it so much though.
